A new issue of the Quarterly on Refugee Problems has been published - Vol. 63, No. 4 (2024):

This issue covers developments and findings from the Middle East, Europe and the U.S. The editorial sheds light on the approved extension of the Schengen Area and its anticipated effects on migration routes and internal border securitization. Mansour & Hudaib present a comparative study on illegal and legal pathways for humanitarian migration from Lebanon to Europe. Huth-Hildebrandt & Hammash analyse family dynamics and resilience of Syrian refugees in the Za'atari camp, Jordan. Resilience specifically of refugee women from different parts of the word hosted in Germany is the focus of the contribution by Hagues, Dryjanska & and Sanchez. Kuehl, Carruth & Castañeda explore the inequities of humanitarian parole in the U.S. zooming in primarily on Ukrainian and Afghan refugees.
